Food consultant and journalist writing on food, wine and restaurants for 25 years. Founder member and first chairman of IFWG, currently serving on judging panels for Hotel and Catering World Gold Medal awards, Food & Wine magazine and RAI awards.


Formerly columnist with Irish Independent and Sunday Business Post; published in Food and Wine magazine, Hotel and Catering Review, Image magazine, Bon Appétit (USA), Georgina Campbell's Ireland Guide e-zine and others.


Undertakes independent assessment, menu advice and consultancy projects for hotels and restaurants.  Portfolio work includes origination of recipes and photo styling for national brands and semi-state bodies. Author of six cookery books for Appletree Press: A Little Christmas Cookbook (English and French); A Little Provencal Cookbook (English and French); Perfectly Simple Chicken, Turkey and Duck; A Little Pasta Cookbook; A Little Herb Cookbook and A Little Spice Cookbook.
