Ciara Leahy
Ciara Leahy is the Consumer Editor and features writer in Irish Country Living, the weekly supplement in the Irish Farmers Journal. Ciara has travelled the country visiting food and agri businesses, telling their stories to readers every week. On top of that, she reports on consumer issues relevant to the weekly spend of farming and rural families. As editor of Irish Country Living Food, a seasonal food publication, you’ll find her at food shoots capturing delicious recipes made with Irish ingredients.
Event management is also key to her role and she co-ordinates the annual Women and Agriculture conference. Ciara has a degree in English and Sociology, a Masters in Public Relations and a Masters in Management from Smurfit Business School. She is also Chair of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists.
